Happy Friday! I’ve actually been excited to say that all week, so thank goodness it’s finally here. This post is a bit different than usual but one of my favorite things about blogging is that I can do whatever I want :) I love partnering with fabulous people, products, and brands to {hopefully} introduce you to someone or something new. Today, meet Tanisha. She’s the beauty—and brain—behind coming-soon blog Heels on a Farm. She’s a friend, sister-in-Christ, fellow Siouxlander, entrepreneur, has a brilliant sense of style, and to this day is the ONLY person my sister Cassidy will let touch her hair. ENJOY! xox

You know that feeling of frustration you get when you have a specific items in mind that you want but you cannot find it anywhere in real life? I've been dealing with that rustration over the 'perfect' caramel-colored jacket since last Fall. That's right, and ENTIRE year! I've found ones that are too light, too dark, too shiny, way out of my budget {like yes, I'm obsessed with this one, but that's more than our mortgage payment, so that wasn't happening} and not available in my size. I've ordered 4 online only to send them back and tried on countless others in various stores. Why this was so difficult, I really don't know! Then, it happened. This BB Dakota jacket came up along the bottom of my screen as a 'suggested item' and I knew it was the one. I took a gamble on what size (XS) to get--knowing that during the 25% off sale things were selling out quickly--and immediately purchased. Three days later it was on my doorstep and that evening I wore it out. The vegan leather looks luxe & trendy, the price was on point, and the stretch panel sleeves & asymmetrical zipper give it a unique flair.
Swing dresses are kind of my thing this season. They're simple, chic, incredibly comfortable, and come in just about every color and pattern you could ever want. They also come in varying sleeve lengths, making them the perfect base piece to layer over. Looking to add some new swing dresses to my closet, I went straight to oldnavy.com knowing their selection and prices would be hard to beat! Always running great specials, I was able to pick up this dress {my striped option is sold-out unfortunately!} for under $20. Yes ladies, you read that right: UNDER TWENTY DOLLARS! Run, do not walk, to your nearest Old Navy--or to your laptop for an online shopping spree--and stock up on these dresses immediately. While you're at it you may want to add this, this, this, & these to your shopping cart because everything is 30% off! Old Navy is one of my go-to stops for trendy pieces and basics because of the quality I find in their clothing at totally budget friendly price tags.
