Dressing for work during the week doesn't have to be boring. Sure dress pants, suit jackets, and high necklines may not be your ideal go-to when putting together an outfit, but that doesn't mean you can have a little fun with your 8-5 (or 7am-7pm) wardrobe! While I am lucky enough to work in an environment where I've been able to make this and these appear business casual enough, there are plenty of days where big client meetings are happening or major prospects are in town. Times like those call for a more dressy appearance and I welcome the challenge of creating a business professional look that still reflects my personal style and doesn't sacrifice comfort. This bright purple pencil skirt packs a punch while maintaining its classic shape, and it's spot-on in terms of office-appropriate style. The length is modest enough for a Board Meeting but the color keeps it young and fresh. I picked up this skirt during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and while this particular color is sold-out, the camel version is still available here.

Great tips! I love a pop of color to add some sass to an otherwise neutral ensemble :)
