Leather can be a difficult material to wear; too much and you can appear 'biker chick' or poor quality and it can look tacky. Once you find the right leather piece, or pieces, they seamlessly become timeless staples in your closet that you can wear for years to come. When I noticed this leather skirt (I sized up to a 4 to make sure it wasn't the least bit tight), I wondered if its price-point was a negative as I had been seeing similar options well over $500. I'm so glad I decided to take a chance on it because it is soft as butter, incredibly comfortable, can easily be dressed up or down, and is a lot more wallet-friendly than others. Leather skirts are very on-trend this season but I wasn't exactly sure how they would fit into my personal style. In the spirit of continually trying to push my style comfort zone, I went for it. While it may be a bit 'vanilla' in comparison to a lot of others out there, I am happy I went with the simpler silhouette and solid black because I know it will work well with just about any top I currently own!
